Those
who sow in tears will reap with joy |
Psalm 126:5 |
| |
|
|
| |
Give
us patience, Lord, to wait |
|
| |
All
the long hard winter through: |
|
| |
Cold
the air and hard the ground |
|
| |
Not
an inkling to be found |
|
| |
Of
the harvest due. |
|
| |
|
|
| |
Jesus
says the seed which falls |
|
| |
Slips
from sight and, to us, dies |
|
| |
From
the work in death begun |
|
| |
Taken
up by rain and sun |
|
| |
Freely
multiplies. |
|
| |
|
|
| |
This
is God's own perfect way- |
|
| |
Life
will always follow death. |
|
| |
So,
when faced by seeming loss |
|
| |
Praise
Him for his glorious cross |
|
| |
And
for fruit to come. |
